Re: So, if I had to do the following w/o Notes ...
Russ, you wrote: "One option might be to web-enable all apps and just keep one Domino server."
Russ, yes, I am working with company that is doing something similar. Actually they are not web enabling anything that wasn't already web enabled though. When they got the cost estimate for re-writing all their Notes apps in something outside of Notes, workflow apps and otherwise, the price of the Domino servers and Notes clients licenses looked good. They still have a Domino server cluster inside the firewall and an outside Domino web server. They went to Exchange/Outlook simply because the new executive wanted it for his mail. It has turned out to be a waste of money and time and efficiency (for example, no more sending DocLinks easily programmatically or manually), but what the exec wants, the exec gets.
I don't see how you could re-write Notes apps with SharePoint unless all the Notes apps were doing was doc management. SharePoint is not workflow. From what I've read, SharePoint is more like Lotus Quickr. Try searching the web for sharepoint & quickr
Good luck, Russ! And thanks, Ed Brill!
